Who do I call to get pricing?
Contact the Branch Location closest to you and let our sales representatives give you the best options to fit your needs.
National Semi takes the personal approach to meet your needs; we want you to get the right trailer at the right price.
How do I know if I should lease or buy trailers?
Each has its own positives and negatives. Contact a National Semi branch and
let our sales professionals go over the options and find the perfect solution to
your trailer needs. National Semi-Trailer Corp.® can help you with your
New Trailer Purchases and your Rental/Leasing needs.
I'm interested in leasing, but I'm not really concerned with the age of the trailer, do I have to pay the high prices for new trailers?
No, National Semi has many trailers to choose from of various ages and manufacturers. We have been special ordering our trailers for years and each is
built to stand up to the rigors of many different applications. Our National 2000 Plus trailer has been in service for over eight years. The specifications of
the National 2000 Plus make it one of the most durable trailers ever produced, which
means a lower cost to our customers in maintenance.
I've had tire problems in the past. What can you do to prevent that?
We understand that tire wear is not only costly to our customers, but can also lead to downtime. With that in mind, we maintain the highest standards with our
tire program. Tires are matched to insure a smooth and even ride, within 2/32nds when side by side and within 5/32nds over the same axle. To reduce blowouts, we
check air pressure with tire gauges each time the trailer comes or goes from our facilities and use secondary flow-through valves to prevent leaks. Trailers that
are four years old or newer are outfitted with virgin tires because you don't want a newer trailer with recapped tires, and we don't mix virgin and recapped tires
on a trailer. When we do recap tires, we only cap our own casings and we only cap them once.
We also always inspect the cap plant personally, to insure
we are getting the highest quality product possible. All of these cost a little more upfront, but more than pay for themselves in the long run.
My rental needs change throughout the year; can you accommodate me during my peak periods?
Yes, let us get to know your business and our local decision makers will be able to handle your needs any time you need us.
I need to get a replacement registration for one of my leased trailers, what do I do?
Very simple. Just go to the Registration/FHWA Search page and enter a unit number or serial number to
retrieve the information you are looking for.
I own a small family run trucking company; would National Semi be interested in leasing to me?
Yes, we specialize in companies like yours that are family owned and operated. We treat each prospective customer with respect no matter the size of
their company or how many trailers you may need.
Can I view my account information on line?
Yes, with National Semi's website you can log in with your personal login and view your account information.
